RIGG AS took over ARMYGEAR AS in March 2008. The aim was to establish a professional distribution and sales company to serve existing sales portals and establish a distribution solution for dealers and public clients. Using the latest in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), CRM (Customer Relations Management) and e-commerce solutions within B2B (Business to Business) and B2C (Business to Consumer) Rigg AS has the most efficient and comprehensive basis to manage the increase in market activities and projects.
Rigg AS is a strategic partner for clients within the police, defence and official bodies. We supply a wide range of quality products from established suppliers. At the same time we deliver sports and outdoor products through our dealer network all over Norway. With our web based solutions we have tailor-made buying portals for large clients. We also deliver products to end customers through our web stores. We offer distribution and marketing services to selected suppliers and brands in Norway and Scandinavia. We sell through our established dealer networks and market them through different channels. We also supply solutions for direct sales. Rigg AS acts as agent for various manufacturers, products and suppliers.
RIGG AS was established in 1999 through the creation of the domain name armygear.com and has recently been reorganised. Instead of focusing on serving end users with an extensive selection of military and security equipment, we now focus on distribution and sales to public authorities and corporate markets.

Joachim Riise is 34 years old and comes from Oslo. He is an officer in the Norwegian Armed Forces by profession and has later completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and IT Management. The last three years he has worked in various technology companies, the national defence and in the security business. He started Armygear.com in 1999 and was a partner in the establishment of Armygear AS in 2001.
